Prologue

Greetings.  For the last several years, I've been longing to be warm in the winter.  I've been longing to have an adventure where I could be warm in the winter. Last Spring, I had Easter dinner with my friends, John and Janet Yoder, who had just returned from wintering in Tanzania, Africa. Since I know that it's warm in Africa during the winter and since Africa still holds a bit of the exotic for me, I decided to invite myself to go along with them in 2019. They agreed to mentor me into my African adventure.  Stay tuned.
